June 19, 2015

The occupation authorities released on Thursday the 33-year old Jerusalemite prisoner Mohammad Tawfiq Mohammad Gheith from the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan after he spent 8 months inside the Israeli prisons. Gheith was arrested on 21/10/2014 and was transferred in between several prisons; note that he was released from the Negev Desert prison. On the other hand, Al-Dameer organization lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the public prosecution submitted on Wednesday a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against Shadi Alayan after spending 35 days in the occupation’s cells. The prosecution also submitted a prosecutor’s permit against Mohammad Kamel Alayan and Mohammad Rabah Alayan and extended their arrest until next Sunday. The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Mustafa until Sunday. The judge decided to release Younes Alayan with a 10-thousand NIS third-party bail, house-arrest for 7 days and released Bashar Mahmoud with the same conditions in additions to a 200-NIS bail. The judge also released last Wednesday Saleh Abu Asab and Hussam Alayan on condition of open house-arrest and a financial bail but the police appealed the decision. The police also released on Wednesday Baker Aweis after interrogating him for several hours.
