Extending the arrest of three children from the neighborhood of Al-Sowaneh
The Magistrate judge extended on Tuesday the arrest of three Jerusalemite minors until next Sunday. The lawyer of Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of 15-year old Mahmoud Shahin, 16-year old Mousa Abulhawa and the 17-year old Mohammad Mughrabi on charges of throwing Molotov Cocktails towards the settlement of “Bet Aort” which is established on the lands of the neighborhood of Al-Sowaneh east of the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. The lawyer pointed out that he will challenge the decision of extending their arrest on Wednesday at the District Court. The lawyer also explained that the Musta’ribeen (undercover) unit assaulted the children during the arrest on Monday and injured them with wounds and bruises.
