The prisoner Shadi Alayan gets sick with a “rash” while being detained in “Cells 20”
The Jerusalemite prisoner Shadi Alayan got sick with a “rash” while being detained in Al-Maskobyeh cells known as “Cells 20”. Al-Dameer organization lawyer, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that Alayan suffered a “rash” in several parts of his body and looked tired during the court session held in the District court on Thursday. Lawyer Mahmoud accused the occupation of intentionally abusing the arrest conditions of his client (dirty blankets) during the interrogation period that lasted 37 days inside the cells in order to extract confessions from him. The bad conditions caused Alayan to suffer from rash over his body which reflects the bad conditions imposed on prisoners and detainees. The lawyer added that his client was presented to the prison’s doctor only while he requested to immediately take him to the hospital for treatment. Lawyer Mahmoud explained that the public prosecution lately submitted an indictment against his client Alayan that included charges of “membership in a terrorist organization”.
