350 thousand worshippers perform the Friday Prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque…a protest in solidarity with the prisoner Khader Adnan

Tens of thousands of Muslim worshippers performed the 2nd Friday Prayer of Ramadan at Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Islamic Awqaf Department explained that more than 350 thousand Muslim worshippers performed the Friday Prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque from Jerusalem, the West Bank and the 1948 lands while the occupation and its restrictions deprived men under the age of 40 from the West Bank from entering Jerusalem and praying at Al-Aqsa. A protest at Al-Aqsa in solidarity with the prisoner Khader Adnan In a related matter, hundreds of Palestinians protests in solidarity with the prisoner Khader Adnan who has been on hunger strike for nearly two months. The protestors held pictures of the prisoner Adnan and banners saying “We support prisoners and protect Al-Aqsa Mosque” and “Freedom for Sheikh Khader Adnan who is on a hunger strike”. Some participants also wore black T-shirts bearing the image of Sheikh Khader Adnan.
