Al-Aqsa Mosque: The arrest of one girl and preventing women and children from entering Al-Aqsa
August 23, 2015

Forty settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning and carried out a tour into its courtyards amid chants of “God is Great” by the Marabouts; note that 20 women were prevented from entering Al-Aqsa. Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s staff was informed that 40 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa through Dung Gate and carried out a tour while protected by the occupation police. In the morning hours, the police arrested one girl near Al-Silsileh Gate (one of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates) after preventing her from entering; she was then transferred to Al-Silsileh gate police station and then to Al-Qishleh center. The occupation police prevented on Sunday nearly 20 women from entering Al-Aqsa; note that the same procedure was implemented last week when they distributed the names of women banned from entering Al-Aqsa on Al-Aqsa gates without the presence of an official order. The police also prevented the children of a summer came from entering Al-Aqsa for no reason. 2 7 4 3 5
