11 Martyrs’ bodies detained…unified decisions by their families
The families of the Palestinian Martyrs whose bodies are still detained by the occupation authorities decided to form a legal committee to follow-up with the matter or releasing the bodies and requested to release the Martyrs’ bodies at the same time and without any conditions.
The decision came after a meeting held by the Martyrs’ families in the Martyrs’ tent in Jabal Al-Mukabber south of Jerusalem and in the presence of representatives from the Martyrs’ families, Islamic and National powers and dozens of Jerusalemites.
At the end of the meeting, the families issued a statement and the father of Martyr Baha’ Alayan read it and confirmed that all the bodies should be released at the same time and they will not accept the release of any of the bodies individually. He also said that they will not be blackmailed whatsoever.
The families invited the Palestinian Authority, national powers and local organizations to do their job and raise the bodies’ issue in the international forums.
They also demanded the popular pressure on the politicians and media attention in order to release the Martyrs’ bodies as soon as possible.
