Esawyeh: An injury in the face…and arrests
The youth Louai Obeid was injured in the face under the eye in the village of Esawyeh and was transferred to “Shaare Zedek” hospital for treatment. Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, explained that large forces including Special Forces raided the village of Esawyeh and were deployed in the neighborhood of Obeid and ascended the roofs of several buildings and residential houses. During the raid, one young man was injured with a bullet near his eye while he was heading home from work; he was directly targeted. The forces also stormed into the store of Ismat Obeid after demolishing the door using “oxygen”; they assaulted Ismat and beat him. The forces arrested Khaled Walid Yousef from Esawyeh; he is a college student. On the other hand, the forces arrested Shahd Khatib from inside the campus of the Hebrew University and Shawkat Abdulrahman from Shu’fat refugee camp and took him to Al-Maskobyeh.
