Arresting 17 Jerusalemites
The occupation forces continued their series of arrests in the city of Jerusalem on Saturday early morning in the village of Esawyeh. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces arrested Sufian Mahmoud, Wajdi Mahmoud, Daoud Yousef Atyeh, Abed Dari and Mohammad Ali Naser. They also arrested Faraj Julani from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan. The 16-year old Tawfiq Abu Dheim was also arrested. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the forces arrested Nidal Bazlameet and the 19-year old Radwan Abdulrahman from the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan. The forces also arrested Samer Shallodi after raiding his home in Silwan. It is noteworthy that his mother has been detained for several days and his young brother was arrested and then released on conditions of house-arrest and deportation to Shu’fat refugee camp. The forces arrested Ikram Ghazzawi and Samah Ghazzawi after raiding their homes in the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan. Also, the 26-year old Sufian Gheith was arrested from Al-Thori. Akram Ja’ooni from the Old City of Jerusalem and one young man from Damascus Gate were also arrested. On Friday, the forces arrested the 14-year old Ahmad Abu Khalifeh and the 26-year old Marwan Abu Khalifeh as explained by Amjad Abu Asab.
