Arrests…extensions of arrest…conditional releases
The occupation police extended the arrest of the 16-year old Ahmad Abu Qalbein and the 13-year old Mansour Ibrahim Safadi until Monday; they were arrested on Sunday night. In a related matter, Al-Dameer organization lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the judge extended the arrest of Omar Abu Sara until 27/1/2016. Khaled Alayan and Mahmoud Aweisat until 3/11/2015 and Majd Darwish until 23/11/2015. The judge also extended the arrest of Omar Halawani until completing the legal procedures against him after an indictment was submitted against him including charges of “incitement of Facebook”. Also, the judge extended the arrest of Ibrahim Shweiki until 23/11/2015 when the so-called “conduct officer” will release his report; he was also accused of incitement of Facebook. The District judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Dwayyat (transferred to administrative arrest) until 29/10/2015, Badawi Abu Asab until 28/12/2015 and Wisam Castero until 2/12/2015. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud added that court sessions were appointed for Huthayfa Shreiteh on 17/12/2015 and Majd Halayqa on 13/1/2016; note that they were both transferred to administrative arrest for 3 months. The judge also extended the arrest of Ali Abu Diab until 26/10/2015 and Khaled Obeid until 27/10/2015; a prosecutor’s permit was submitted during the session to submit indictments against them. Lawyer Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Odeh and Ahmad Rajabi until 28/10/2015 and Bassam Hijazi until 27/10/2015. The judge released Mohammad Shallodi with a 1000-NIS bail and house-arrest for 10 days and released Suhaib Burqan with a 300-NIS bail, house-arrest for 3 days and a third-party bail. , Also, the police release Mansour Abu Gharbyeh and his son Ahmad, the child Majd Kamal Ahmad Al-A’war, Omar Khalil Abulhawa and Farid Obeid on condition of house-arrest of 5 days for each. The occupation police at O’z interrogation center in Jabal Al-Mukabber decided to release three young men from Silwan on conditions of house-arrest for 5 days, signing a bail of 500 NIS, staying away from settlement outposts in Silwan and deportation from the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh to the neighborhood to Al-Shayah in Silwan. They are: A’ed Khalil Abbasi (25), Bilal Jala Al-A’war (21) and Ahmad Jalal Al-A’war (19). The occupation authorities arrested on Monday night the 13-year old Adnan Eyad Rajabi after raiding his home in the Middle Neighborhood in Silwan. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Israeli police extended the arrest of the child Rajabi until presenting him to the Magistrate judge on Tuesday. On the other hand, the Minister of Occupation Army decided to transfer the 20-year old Sabri Abu Diab to administrative arrest. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the occupation authorities arrested the 17-year old Firas Nassar Husseini and Nader Naser from the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan, and Raed Jaber from the Old City of Jerusalem. The police also called two young men, Kamal Imam and Shadi Abdullah, from the neighborhood of Al-Sowaneh for interrogation. After they were interrogated, the police released them on condition of house-arrest for 5 days and deportation from their homes for 15 days. The occupation forces had interrogated Ihab Shafiq Abu Dheim and Samer Omar Abu Dheim on Sunday and extended their arrest.
