Transferring the child Mohammad Hashlamon to administrative arrest
The occupation authorities transferred on Monday night the 17-year old Jerusalemite Mohammad Nadi Hashlamon (resident of the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan) to administrative arrested for six months following an order issued by the Minister of Defense, Moshe Ya’alon. Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that Minister Ya’alon transferred the minor Hashlamon on Monday night to administrative arrest. Hashlamon was arrested 20 days ago after masked Special Forces raided his house and severely beat him; he was interrogated at Al-Maskobyeh cells. Abu Asab added that the District court issued on Monday afternoon a decision to release Hashlamon and transfer him to house-arrest for one day in addition to paying a 2000-NIS bail. His family was surprised by a phone call from one officer informing them about transferring their son to administrative arrest; the lawyer confirmed the administrative-arrest decision.
