Arresting three young men from the village of Um Tuba

The occupation forces arrested on Wednesday afternoon three Jerusalemites from the village of Um Tuba south of Jerusalem. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the Musta’ribeen unit (undercover police) and Intelligence personnel raided the village of Um Tuba for no reason. While wondering in the street, they insulted three young men while they were in front of their houses and asked them to leave the area. Meanwhile, Musta’ribeen individuals got off the vehicle and arrested the three young men after assaulting and beating them. The detainees are: 15-year old Yaser Amin Abu Ter, 20-year old Ahmad Amin Abu Ter and 19-year old Mu’taz Mustafa Abu Ter. The Intelligence personnel along with Israeli police also raided the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber on Wednesday night and arrested the 16-year old Nader Naji Aweisat from his house. The center was informed that the forces handed the family of another child a call to interrogate their son since he wasn’t home. The occupation intelligence also requested another child from the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber for interrogation at Al-Maskobyeh police center on Thursday morning. In the village of Esawyeh, scattered clashes broke out between young men and occupation forces that raided the village and deployed into its streets and alleys. The Israeli forces’ presence in the streets of Esawyeh prevented a Scouts’ activity on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday. Before the start of the activity, the forces were deployed at the entrance of the village and randomly fired tear-gas canisters and rubber bullets. The forces also arrested the 16-year old Ma’roof Matour from the area of Damascus Gate in Jerusalem.
