Jerusalem: The Martyrdom of three Palestinians
Three Palestinian young men passed away last Wednesday after being shot in the area of Damascus Gate in Jerusalem after carrying out a “stabbing and shooting” attack against a group of borders control individuals. The occupation police said in a statement that a stabbing and shooting attack was carried out by three young men who arrived at Damascus Gate with several types of weapons including knives and explosive devices. When the forces stopped them, one of them pulled out a weapon and fired some shots. The forces responded with opening fire towards them and led to their Martyrdom. Two of the borders control individuals were injured during the attack. The three Martyrs are from the city of Jenin and were identified as Mohammad Kameel, Ahmad Zakarneh and Ahmad Abu Rub. The occupation forces completely closed the area of Damascus Gate and randomly fired sound grenades and rubber bullets in the area and in Sultan Suleiman Street as well as the area of Herod’s Gate. The forces also sprayed a woman with pepper gas while passing in the area.
