Jerusalem: Arresting a young man under the pretext of stabbing a settler
The occupation forces arrested on Friday afternoon a Palestinian young man from the Old City of Jerusalem under the pretext of stabbing an Israeli settler in Oqbat Al-Khaldyeh in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The police said in a statement that a settler was stabbed in the Old City and suffered light to moderate injuries while the attacker managed to fled the scene; he was chased and arrested afterwards and he is from the West Bank.
The police added that they arrested a 19-year old Palestinians man who is a resident of the village of Qablan south of Nablus. He was arrested under the pretext of stabbing a 29-year old settler in the upper body part.
Witnesses explained that the forces closed the area of the incident with iron barriers and closed the gates of the Old City.
Witnesses added that the forces detained three young men from the Old City of Jerusalem after the stabbing incident.
