The occupation forces arrested on Saturday one woman and two young Jerusalemite men.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the occupation forces arrested on Saturday early morning 62-year old Zinat Jallad after raiding her home in the village of Esawyeh.

The forces also arrested Mohammad Shalabi and Amjad Abu Sbeih from the Old City of Jerusalem.

On Friday, the forces arrested the child Islam Bashiti from the neighborhood of Bab Hutta in the Old City of Jerusalem.

On the other hand, the occupation police released on Friday Mohammad Salim after he was arrested while exiting Al-Aqsa Mosque on charges of “incitement” during the Friday Noon Prayer’s speech that he gave.

The Jordanian government denounced the arrest of Mohammad Salim for several hours after the Friday Noon Prayer as explained by the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr Hayel Daoud.

Daoud said that the occupation authority’s act of arresting a religious man practicing his ritual is unacceptable.

He considered the arrest of Mohammad Salim interference in Al-Aqsa Mosque’s affairs and is against international laws.

He also pointed out that the Jordanian government followed up with the arrest of Mohammad Salim through the Ministry of Foreign affairs and Directorate of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa affairs represented by Azzam Khatib.

Azzam Khatib expressed his displeasure to the arrest of Mohammad Salim and attempted to stop the forces from arresting him. Immediately after the arrest, he contacted high-level figures in the Jordanian government as well as Minister Hayel Daoud.
