Arrests…sentencing a child…extensions of arrest

The occupation forces arrested on Monday six Jerusalem and transferred them to detention centers.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the occupation forces arrested 4 children from the village of Esawyeh, they are: Daoud Yousef Atyeh (17), Anas Ali Abu Asab (15), Marwan Samir Shami (17) and Mohammad Omar Atyeh (15).

On the other hand, the head of public relations at the Islamic Awqaf department Firas Dibs explained that the occupation police arrested Adel Abu Zaneed and Ahed Risheq from the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The District judge sentenced on Sunday 14-year old Jerusalemite Mouawya Ali Alqam for six and a half years of actual imprisonment, a suspended probation of 10 months for three years and a 26-thousand NIS fine after convicting him of stabbing one of the light rail’s guards in the settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev established on the lands of Beit Hanina.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud added that the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Adam Mahmoud and Qusai Dari until 19/7/2016, Ahmad Odeh and Ali Zawahreh until 1/8/2016, Wadi’ Alayan and Ahmad Abulhawa and Anas Dirbas until 21/7/2016 (indictments were submitted against them at the District Court), Seif Abdel Nabi and Mohammad Joulani until 21/7/2016, Mohammad Abu Khdeir and Naser Abu Khdeir until 24/7/2016.

The Magistrate judge also decided on Sunday to release the child Munir Mheisen but the public prosecution appealed the decision at the District court; the judge extended the arrest of the child until Monday to present him to court again.
