Pictures: the occupation authorities demolish a room, warehouses and a commercial establishment in Silwan

The occupation municipality’s bulldozers demolished on Tuesday morning a room, warehouses and a commercial establishment in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that occupation forces along with municipality employees raided Hosh Abu Tayeh in Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan and closed several roads before executing a demolition operation against a room, a parking lot and commercial establishments owned by Abu Hammam and Abu Tayeh families.

Arafat Abu Hammam

Arafat Abu Hammam explained that the occupation’s bulldozers demolished a 36-square meters room and three establishments that were used as parking garages and warehouses; each was 25 square meters. They were built from bricks and tin plates and have been established for 8 years.

He added that the municipality crews used a small tractor to execute the demolition.

Abu Tayeh

The bulldozers also demolished a commercial establishment owned by Abu Tayeh family (a car-repair shop and carwash). The 30-square meters property has been established for nearly 10 years and was built from tin plates. The municipality crews did not empty the property of all equipment and executed the demolition on top of valuable equipment which cost nearly 50 thousand NIS.
