The Civil Administration crews along with occupation forces demolished on Wednesday morning a residential caravan in the neighborhood of Beit Hanina (Wad Al-Dam) north of Jerusalem owned by Izz Eddin Abu Nijmeh under the pretext of building without a permit.

Abu Nijmeh explained that the occupation’s bulldozers demolished his 40-square meters residential caravan this morning. Izz Eddin, his wife and their two children lived in the caravan.

Abu Nijmeh added that the caravan was established in 2014 and he had been trying to obtain a building permit since then. He pointed out that he recently placed the caravan on wheel to protect it from being demolished as the Israeli laws prohibit the demolition of any establishment placed on wheels as it doesn’t require a building permit.

He said: “Even though the establishment is sitting on wheels, the bulldozers demolished it without prior notice”. He added that the Israeli bulldozers had previously demolished his property five times (1995, 1999, 2008, 2012 and 2014).
