Sentencing 4 children…releasing 8 Jerusalemites…extensions of arrest

The District judge sentenced four children from the village of Esawyeh to actual imprisonment while the Magistrate judges decided to extend the arrest of several Jerusalemites for interrogation.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the District judge sentenced the children Majd Mustafa, Mohammad Obeid and Hani Naser for 3 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of three months for three years while Yehya Dirbas was sentenced for 4 months of actual imprisonment; they were all accused of throwing stones. 
On the other hand, the Magistrate judge extended the arrest of Ammar Bayya’ and Mohammad Hmeid from Shu’fat refugee camp until 8/9/2016 while a prosecutor’s permit was submitted against Maher Hindi to submit an indictment against him. 
The judge also extended the arrest of Dalal Abulhawa until 1/9/2016. 
The lawyer added that the judge extended the arrest of the minors Mohammad Abu Ghannam and Ibrahim Abulhawa until 29/9/2016 for sentencing. 
The Magistrate judge decided on Wednesday to release 16-year old Nou’man Fayez Faraj, 16-year old Omar Ismaeel Shweiki and 17-year old Ahmad Mazen Al-Razem with a 500-NIS bail and house-arrest for 10 days for each; they are allowed to go to school if accompanied by one of their parents. 
The judge also released 22-year old Ibrahim Shweiki who was arrested from his house in Silwan and was detained for one day. Also, 17-year old Mufeed Sa’eedeh was released on condition of house-arrest for 5 days while 23-year old Jamil Mheisen was released unconditionally. 
The occupation police released on Monday night 17-year old Laith Abed Rabbo and 17-year old Bilal Hroub on condition of house-arrest for 2 days each; they were arrested near the light rail station on suspicious of throwing stones towards it.
