Detained for six months…a decision to release the body of Martyr Mohammad Abu Khalaf
The occupation intelligence decided on Monday night to release the body of Martyr Mohammad Abu Khalaf to his family after Monday midnight.
The lawyer of prisoners’ affairs, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the Israeli intelligence decided to release the body of Abu Khalaf to his family after midnight on condition of burying him in Al-Mujahedeen Cemetery in Salah Eddin Street in Jerusalem with the presence of only 25 family members. The family also had to deposit 20 thousand NIS to ensure commitment to the rules.
Martyr Abu Khalaf passed away on 19/2/2016 in the area of Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. He was shot under the pretext of attempting to stab a soldier in the area. The forces fired multiple shots at him despite falling on the ground and not posing any threat.
