Pictures: The occupation authorities demolish two residential building in the village of Esawyeh and Wadi Al-Joz in Jerusalem

The occupation municipality’s bulldozers demolished on Tuesday early morning two residential buildings in the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz and the village of Esawyeh in Jerusalem.

Witnesses explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the occupation forces along with bulldozers raided Wadi Al-Joz in the early morning and demolished a residential building. Afterwards, they headed towards the village of Esawyeh where they demolished another building.

Witnesses explained that the residential building consists of three floors and part of it was still under construction.

The first floor contains warehouses and the bulldozers executed the demolition operation on top of the contents of the warehouses. The second and third floors consisted of residential apartment where some of them were still under construction.

Mohammad Abu Hummos, member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, explained that the bulldozers demolished the building of Ghanem Mustafa which consists of two floors. The first floor included commercial stores while the second had an under-construction residential apartments; each floor was 180 square meters.

Abu Hummos added that Mustafa attempted to license his building and had appealed the demolition order but municipality crews didn’t hesitate to execute the demolition and imposed a 265-thousnad NIS fine on him.
