Arresting three children from the neighborhood…banning the activity of “Women’s Day” in Jerusalem

The Musta’ribeen individuals (undercover police) supported by occupation forces arrested three children from the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan while the occupation authorities banned an activity organized on the occasion of “Women’s Day” in Jerusalem.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the forces raided on Wednesday night the neighborhood of Al-Thori in Silwan and randomly fired sound grenades while Musta’ribeen individuals arrested three children. They are: Hussam Zaghal, Rami Joulani and Malek Qaisi.

On the other hand, the occupation authorities banned two activities from being held in the city of Jerusalem on occasion of Women’s Day. The first activity was organized by “Women for Life and Democracy” organization and the second was organized by “Murtaqa” organization for women. The activities were banned following an order by the Minister of Internal Security and member of the Israeli Knesset, Gilad Ardan, under the pretext of being organized and sponsored by the Palestinian Authority.

The center was informed that the occupation intelligence and police raided the locations of the two activities, St. George Hotel and Al-Hambra Hotel, and handed the organizers order banning the activities based on the law of organizing activities in the West Bank and Gaza- 1994.
