On suspicion of "security risk", opening fire at a Jerusalemite and arresting him
The 53-year old Sabri Kashour was injured on Sunday afternoon after being shot by the occupation forces in the village of Bet Safafa south of Jerusalem.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Israeli forces arrested Sabri Kashour who is a resident of Al-Thori in Silwan and transferred him for interrogation; he was shot in his leg.
The occupation forces claimed that they headed to the village of Bet Safafa to arrest Kashour after receiving a security notice stating that he intended to carry out an attack in or around Jerusalem, and shot him.
The police claim in Jerusalem claimed that the “notice” was received from the Shin Bet security service. When the forces arrived there and arrested the suspect, he threatened them. One of them then shot and slightly wounded him.
