A Jerusalemite lawyer turns himself-in to serve his sentence
Lawyer Rami Alami from Al-Tur village in Jerusalem turned himself-in on Sunday to the Israeli occupation prisons to serve his 10-month prison sentence.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of the Jerusalemites prisoners and detainees families committee, said that lawyer Alami was arrested two years ago on charges of transferring messages between the prisoners and their relatives. He was subjected to harsh interrogations for 33 days and then released on condition of house arrest and a bail.
Abu Asab added that the court sentenced the lawyer for 10 months in prison, and he turned himself-in on Sunday to serve his sentence.
