Occupation forces shoot and injure a boy…and arrest his father and brother

On Tuesday, the 16-year old Mohammed Khaled al-Sabah was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in the area of Bab Hutta in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that the boy was arrested after being injured from Bab Hutta after the forces opened fire towards him. The police claimed the boy attempted a stabbing attack.

Al-Sabahfamily explained that their son was transferred to Shaare Zedek hospital and directly to the operating room. No information was available regarding his medical condition.

He added that the Israeli authorities arrested his father and brother.

Following the shooting, the Israeli occupation forces closed the gates of the Old City of Jerusalem completely, putting iron barriers and preventing the exit from or out of the city, and intensified its presence at Herods Gate from inside and outside. The injured boy was taken through Herods Gate to an ambulance amid a large presence of the occupation forces and officers.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested Jamal al-Haddad and Mohammed Shaheen after assaulting and beating them. They also arrested Mohammed Mattour and his brother Malek while they were near Herods Gate.
