Expelling Jerusalemites from the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque

The occupation authorities continued to issue Jerusalemites expulsion orders from Al-Aqsa for periods varying between 3-6 months.

On Sunday, the occupation authorities handed over expulsion orders to each of: Ahmed Abu Ghazaleh, Khadija Khweis, Hanadi Al-Halawani, Imad Za’aneen, Mahmoud Al-Jundi and Obada Najib for a period of 6 months, and Nasser Qos, director of Prisoners Club in Jerusalem and Mahmoud Al-Jundi for a period of 5 months.

The authorities also issued an expulsion order for one week against Issam Najib, a guard at Al-Aqsa Mosque. When the expulsion period ends, he has to go to the detention center to receive an extended expulsion order.

On Saturday, journalist Sundos Aweis received a three-month expulsion order, while Ms. Ra’eda Saeed was expelled for 5 months.

On Saturday, the youths, Khaled Sukhon, Mohammad Ateeq, Hasan Ateeq, and Adham Za’tariwere deported from the Old City of Jerusalem for 10 days.

Last Thursday, the occupation authorities expelled the head of the Supreme Islamic Authority and the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Abdullah Alqam, from Al-Aqsa for 4 months, and the Secretary General of the Tribes of Jerusalem and Palestine, member of the Legislative Council, Jihad Abu Zneid, and the leader in Fatah movement, Hamdi Diab, for two weeks, and Mohammed Dakkaq for 5 months, and Ashraf Sharbati for one week.

Nitham Abu Rammouz was also deported from the Old City of Jerusalem for two weeks, and KhattabSharbatifor 10 days.
