Arrests in the village of Issawiya
The occupation forces executed, at dawn Sunday, a series of arrests from the village of Issawiya.
Activist Mohammed Abu Al-Hummos, a member of the Follow-up Committee in Issawiya, said that the occupation forces, accompanied by the intelligence services, stormed the village at dawn, and arrested the youths: Omar Obaid, Mahmoud Obaid, Mohammad Nasim Obaid, Hasan Darwish, Mohammad Samih Alayan, Mahmoud Abed Mahmoud and Mohammad Dari.
Abu Al-Hummos added that the occupation forces were deployed in the morning hours in the neighborhoods and streets of the village.
The occupation municipal crews also erased slogans written on the walls of Obaid neighborhood in Issawiya.
The occupation authorities intensified their arrests during the past days in Jerusalem. On Friday evening, the two boys, Hassan Khaled Alayan and Hamza Al-Tamimi, were arrested.
Last Friday, the police extended the arrest of 4 members of the Abu Gharbiya family, “the father and his three children”, Mansour Abu Gharbiya, Rami, Ahmad and Mahmoud, until next Monday. The forces arrested them after storming their home in Al-Sowaneh, and assaulted them severely. They all suffered multiple wounds and bruises, and Rami suffered a broken nose.
On Thursday, the Public Prosecution Office of the Magistrate Court filed an indictment against the youth, Areen Za’aneen, for "attacking Rabbi Yehuda Glick" in the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Joz in Jerusalem.
The extremist Rabbi Glick went to the mourning tent of Martyr Iyad Al-Hallaq, despite the family's announcement to refuse to welcome any Israeli official, and he stood in the middle of the mourning tent, provoking those present.
