November 3, 2020

On Tuesday, the occupation municipality demolished a house and a barracks in Beit Hanina and Jabal Al-Mukabber in Jerusalem, under the pretext of "building without a permit."

Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that the bulldozers of the occupation municipality, accompanied by dozens of soldiers and policemen, stormed the town of Beit Hanina, closed several streets, and then surrounded the home of Amjad Idris.

Idris explained that the occupation municipality carried out the demolition of his house without prior notice, as he was preparing to live in it with his family consisting of 4 members, but he was surprised by storming it, besieging it and demolishing it, pointing out that he started building the house "from reinforced tin and bricks" a month and a half ago and prepared it for housing, and 10 days ago the municipality handed him an order to stop construction.

The occupation bulldozers also bulldozed a plot of land in Beit Hanina.

In the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber, the occupation bulldozers demolished a horses’ barracks and bulldozed a concrete yard.

In a related context, the Israeli bulldozers demolished on Monday agricultural rooms and bulldozed lands in the eastern region of the village of Issawiya.
