Arrests and assaults in the city of Jerusalem

On Tuesday afternoon, the occupation forces arrested three Jerusalemites from the Balaleh family, after storming the area of the "African community" in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The Balaleh family explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the occupation forces stormed two houses for the family, and attacked those present in it, by beating and shoving them, and also sprayed Adam Balaleh with pepper gas.

The family added that the forces arrested the 23-year-old Ru’a Balaleh, her brother Mustafa, and their cousin Abdullah.

In Al-Wad Street, meters away from the African community, the forces arrested Mohammad Al-Sawaf and Naji Zghayyar.

The forces also arrested Alaa Zghayyar from Al-Sowaneh neighborhood in Jerusalem on Tuesday afternoon.

In Shu’fat refugee camp, the occupation forces arrested a former member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Jihad Abu Zneid, after storming the “Women Center” in the refugee camp in Jerusalem.

The police also summoned Hussam Alayan, from Al-Issawiya, for investigation.
