The forces attacked the worshipers with sound grenades and pushing, while they were in Al-Ghazali Square "outside the Lions Gate."
On Thursday, the police released Sheikh Khaled Al-Issawi, head of the preaching and counseling department in the Al-Aqsa Mosque Directorate, on condition that he be expelled from Al-Aqsa for a week.
Sheikh Al-Issawi was arrested on Thursday as soon as he left Al-Aqsa, via Al-Silsileh Gate.
