The Dweik family self-demolishes its home in Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan
On Tuesday, the Dweik family self-demolished its home in Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwanby a decision from the occupation municipality.
The Dweik family explained that they were forced to self-demolish their house in order to avoid paying the demolition costs to the municipality's staff, as the municipality issued the final demolition decision about 20 days ago.
The family added that their house has an area of 80 square meters, and 9 people live in it, including 7 children, the oldest of whom is 16 years old and the youngest is two years old.
The family noted that their home has been in existence since 2017.
