Arrests from Jerusalem
On Sunday, the occupation forces carried out arrests from several areas in the city of Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, stated that the occupation forces arrested 3 employees of the Islamic Endowments Department from Al-Aqsa Mosque: the guard Louay Abu Al-Saad, the guard Khalil Al-Tarhouni, and the head of the hygiene department, Raed Zghayyar.
Tension prevailed in the morning at Al-Aqsa, after verbal altercations between the police and the guard, Abu Al-Saad, broke out while he was working in the Dome of the Rock, during which large forces of police and officers surrounded the Dome of the Rock until they arrested the guard, then returned and arrested Al-Tarhouni and Zghayyar.
On the other hand, the forces stormed the house of Sheikh Najeh Bkeirat in the village of Sur Baher, and arrested his son Salah, and handed his family a summon to interrogate Sheikh Najeh, and the forces searched the entire house.
In the town of Silwan, the forces arrested Ashraf Kash’am, Khalil Shweiki, and Wajd Abu Hleil, after storming the town's neighborhoods after midnight.
