Closure and assault - a policeman was wounded in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan
The occupation police said on Sunday evening, that a policeman was wounded, after he was stabbed in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in the town of Silwan.
The police said in a statement, that the policemen arrived to the Ras Al-Amoud area, after receiving a report that a car had been set on fire, during which they were attacked by young men, and one of them carried out a stabbing attack against a policeman and then fled the scene.
The occupation forces stormed the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood, and assaulted young men with rifle butts and pushing, and closed streets and roads.
During that, the occupation forces closed the gates of the Old City, especially Lions Gate, Herods Gate, and Damascus Gate, and prevented entry or exit from them.
