Arrested while injured…the martyrdom of the Jerusalemite Walid al-Sharif
On Saturday morning, the Jerusalemite Walid al-Sharif, 23, died of wounds sustained on the 22nd of last April, the third Friday of the month of Ramadan.
Since the injury of the al-Sharif, he has been in a coma and has been in a critical health condition, as he suffered severe bleeding in the brain, fractures of the skull, and damage to brain cells due to the lack of oxygen reaching his brain for 20 minutes.
Martyr al-Sharif, after his injury, was arrested immediately, and the cameras of the press crews in Al-Aqsa monitored his injury and arrest by the soldiers, and he was taken to Al-Buraq Square through the Dung Gate while he was carried and unconscious.
On his part, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, Mohammad Mahmoud, said that the police are demanding that the body be transferred to the "Abu Kabir" institute for autopsy, while the family refuses to do so and demands burial.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that there is no legal reason to delay the delivery of the body, and this is an attempt to impose conditions on the funeral procession.
