To file an indictment against him…extending the arrest of the governor of Jerusalem
On Tuesday, the Public Prosecution submitted a "prosecutor's statement" to file an indictment against the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith.
Lawyer Rami Othman explained that the judge extended the detention of his client, the governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, until Wednesday, to file an indictment against him for "violating the decision to prevent entry to the West Bank."
On Monday, the forces arrested the Governor of Jerusalem, Ghaith, after storming his house in the town of Silwan.
Governor Ghaith has been subjected to dozens of arrests since he took office in August 2018, and several restrictions have been imposed on him, most notably “house arrest in his place of residence in Silwan, travel bans, and entry bans to the West Bank.”
