Silwan- The Abu Rammouz family self-demolishes its home
Wednesday, the Abu Rammouz family self-demolished its house in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan, by a decision of the occupation municipality.
The Abu Rammouz family explained that the municipality refused to freeze and postpone the demolition decision, and informed the family two days ago that it must demolish its house within only two days.
The family explained that their son, Faraj, built the house 7 years ago, and its area is 100 square meters. The municipality issued a demolition decision this year, and imposed a building violation of 50,000 shekels on him.
Faraj Abu Rammouz explained that his family and his son’s familylived in the house.
