Extending his detention until Thursday - the wounded detainee, Omar Abu Mayaleh, is transferred to the "Ramla” prison hospital
On Monday, the judge extended the detention of the wounded boy, Omar Ibrahim Abu Mayaleh, until next Thursday.
The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Silwan Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that an extension session was held in absentia for his client, Abu Mayaleh, due to his health condition, as he is still undergoing treatment and medical follow-up.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that the boy, Omar Abu Mayaleh, was transferred in the afternoon hours from Hadassah Hospital (Issawiya) to Al-Ramla Prison Hospital to complete treatment.
The boy, Abu Mayaleh, was arrested last Tuesday evening, after he was shot during clashes in the town of Silwan. He was transferred directly to Hadassah Hospital (Issawiya), and he received medical treatment while he was under arrest.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the boy, Abu Mayaleh, was hit with two bullets, "one in the abdomen and one in the foot." The boy underwent two surgeries, and he is in a stable health condition.
