The Creative Center Madaa Silwan offers classes and activities for the youth and women of Silwan in music, theater, dance, art, languages and embroidery. The center has also recently opened the first library in Silwan that holds more than 1500 books for children and adults in different languages.
The center is a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization which relies on donations to sustain and expand its activities. They now offer a secured on-line system where you can choose where your donation goes to by donating a specific gift. You can even donate a gift as a present for a friend by using an automated electronic greeting card (e-card) system and in 7 different languages (the system was donated to the center).
