Hundreds Jerusalemites Prevented from Praying in al-Aqsa, and Feglin Attempt to Raid it
On Friday Israeli forces prevented men under 50 years of age to pray in al-Aqsa. Consequently they prayed in the streets of Jerusalem, at al-Aqsa’s gates, in Wad al Joz street, in Ras al Amoud's area, in Bab al Amoud, in Bab al Sahera. They prayed under a heavy Israeli presence with a helicopter in the skies taking photos of them. The Israelis set many borders in the streets of Jerusalem, including the Old City. Forces checked ID cards, focusing on their ages. At Bab Hatta a confrontation took place between Israeli forces and the young men who tried to reach al Aqsa; one was temporarily held. During this, Knesset member Mosheh Faiglin tried to raid al-Aqsa through bab al Silsila along with heavy security. However the guards of al-Aqsa manage to block him. After the prayer many women protested inside its yards against the disrespectful treatment of the Koran by an Israeli officers three weeks ago.
