The Magistrates’ Court released Zeina Amrou Under Conditions to Stay Away from al-Aqsa
On Friday the Magistrates’ Court released 44-year-old Zeina Amrou. She is a teacher at al-Aqsa and must now stay away from al-Aqsa until next Sunday when her hearing takes place. She was arrested yesterday after going to al Qishle center in Old Jerusalem to take back her ID card. She was accompanied by her lawyer, Amir Marid. Officers asked her to sign a paper agreeing to stay away from al-Aqsa mosque for two weeks. Following her refusal she was transfer to al Maskubiye where her arrest was extended to 24 hours.
