Special Forces raid Al-Aqsa, assault the prayers and arrest 3 youths

Tens of extremist settlers raided Al-Aqsa courtyards on Monday morning while the youths and women were denied entrance.

Eye witnesses stated that 40 settlers raided Al-Aqsa through Dung Gate (Bab Al-Magharbeh) including leaders of the Likud party. They were guarded with policemen and officers while any males under the age of 50 were denied entrance as well as all women.

The police attacked the women at Lions’ Gate by pushing and verbally insulting them; one woman was transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Six Jerusalemites were injured at Lions’ Gate after being pushed and sprayed with pepper spray including 3 women as one lady was sent to the hospital.

Further more, Special Forces raided Al-Aqsa through Dung Gate and Al-Silsileh Gate and attacked the prayers hitting them with batons, electric shocks and pepper spray which led to the injury of several people as they suffered bruises and suffocation.

The Israeli forces arrested Jamil Al-Abbasi from Al-Aqsa courtyards who was taken to Al-Silsileh Gate’s police station; they also arrested Said Ahmad Abu Jamal, 31, and another man.
