Sheikh Raed Salah refuses to release him versus keeping him away from Jerusalem
Sheikh Raed Salah, head of Islamic movement in the 1948 lands, refused the Magistrate court judge’s decision to release him on condition of keeping him away from Jerusalem for 6 months, and with a fifty thousand NIS bail. The occupation forces arrested Sheikh Raed Salah on Tuesday morning while he was in his vehicle across from Imwas intersection as he was heading to Jerusalem to participate in a press conference. . He was then transferred to the investigations department in Al-Maskobyeh in Jerusalem. Sheikh Raed Salah dismissed the charges against him and called them “false and fabricated.”
