The injury of dozens of students and employees at Al-Quds University
Dozens of students and employees at Al-Quds University suffocated and were injured with rubber bullets during clashes that broke out around the university in the village of Abu Dees on Sunday.
The borders police unit was stationed on the main gate of the university, and checked IDs of both male and female students in a provocative way, and detained some of them which led to the break out of violent clashes. The Israeli forces heavily fired bombs and rubber bullets towards the students which led to the injury and suffocation of many students including 4 females and the university guards Radwan Daoud and Mohammad Darwish.
Witnesses confirmed that the occupation forces tried to break into the university but the guards and high walls prevented them.
The Israeli forces have been targeting Al-Quds University for the past week, and are directly firing bombs into its campus which leads to violent clashes between them and the students around the university.
