Extending the arrest of 7 Jerusalemites
Tags: The Israeli Magistrate and District courts extended on Thursday the arrest of 7 Jerusalemites. Mohammad Mahmoud, Al-Dameer organization lawyer, said that the general prosecution submitted to the District court on Thursday an indictment against Laith Husseini and Ishaq Ghateet which included throwing stones and Molotov cocktails in Jerusalem. The judge extended the arrest of Mohammad Nihad Obeid until Monday to submit an indictment against him in the District court. The Magistrate court extended the arrest of Nihad Mshashe’ until 03/10/2013 when the so-called “conduct officer” releases his report and discusses the possibility of releasing Nihad on conditions of house arrest and a bail. The Magistrate court also extended the arrest of a young man and a minor from Al-Tur until Sunday; they are 21-year old Mohammad Mutasem Abu Lafi and 16-year old Mohammad Riyad Abu Lafi.
