Israeli settler assaults Jerusalemites in Simar Land (French Hill)
One Israeli settler attacked on Sunday night 48-year old Maher Abu Leil and several other children from the village of Esawyeh while being in Simar Land. Witnesses said that the Israeli settler attacked several children from Esawyeh while they were walking in Simar Land using an iron bar. Citizen Maher Abu Leil tried to defend the children while he was on his way to his falafel restaurant, but the settler attacked him as well and hit him on his head and face which led to severe bleeding in the nose and was transferred to the hospital for treatment. Witnesses added that the police arrived at the scene and arrested the settler.
