Settlers slash the tires of six cars in Sheikh Jarrah
Several settlers slashed the tires of six cars that belong to Jerusalemites on Sunday early morning hours in the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem, and wrote “price tag” on one of the neighbourhood’s walls. Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the cars belong to the families of (Mheisen Kiswani, Hajjeh, Shamasneh, Zahran and Salem). Emad Mheisen Kiswani said that two extremist settlers damaged the tires of six cars in the neighbourhood using a sharp tool at around 4 a.m. and sprayed paint on some of them, in addition to writing “price tag” on a wall and then ran away when the locals tried to follow them. Locals denounced not arresting the settlers who assault their properties as cars have been damaged and burnt several times and without taking any action by the police which simply investigates the incident each time.
