Sentencing activist Inaam Qlambo for seven and a half months of actual imprisonment

The Israeli Magistrate court judge sentenced activist Inaam Qlambo for seven and a half months of actual imprisonment, and a suspended probation of five months for two years. Mufeed Al-Hajj, prisoner’s club lawyer, explained that his client was convicted in Wednesday’s session for participating in an illegal protest in Jerusalem, and obstructing police work in addition to the attempt to assault police individuals, while the charge of assaulting police personnel and injuring them was cancelled. Upon conviction, she was sentenced to seven and a half months. The Jerusalemite activist was arrested on the 2nd of last April after the Israeli forces suppressed a sit-in in Jerusalem to condemn the death of Martyr Maysara Abu Hamdyeh, and she was severely beaten and her veil was removed.
