Clashes in Abu Dis and the arrest of four young men and demolition of a building under construction

The Israeli forces arrested on Tuesday early morning hours four young men from Abu Dis during the violent clashes that broke out in the town after the demolition of a building that is under construction under the pretext of building without a permit. Hani Halabieh, spokesman of Public Resistance Committees, said that Israeli forces accompanied by a bulldozer from the Civil Administration raided the town after midnight on Monday and surrounded Al-Quds University and then proceeded with the demolition of a two-storey building that belonged to Abu Sneineh family which led to the break-out of violent clashes in the area. He explained that the Israeli forces heavily fired gas bombs in the area which led to the suffocation of several people in addition to the intense fear that the residents suffered especially women and children; ten young men were injured with rubber bullets. The administration of Al-Quds University, Abu Dis School, Arabic Institute School announced the suspension of education for Tuesday because of the cordon imposed on the area and Israeli forces preventing students from getting to their schools.
