Preventing four citizens from entering the West Bank or leaving the country
November 7, 2013

The Israeli authorities handed on Thursday several Jerusalemites orders to prevent them from leaving the country or entering the West bank under the pretext of “maintaining the state’s security.” The police released on Thursday Rami Baraka and handed him an order not to enter the West Bank for 6 months; note that the police forces arrested him on Wednesday from the neighbourhood of Ras Al-Amoud. The police also called 53-year old Amin Shweiki to go to Al-Maskobyeh and handed him the prevention order issued on 25/10/2013 and ends on 26/04/2014 (duration of 6 months); note that the forces demolished his residential building in Beit Hanina at the end of last month under the pretext of building without a permit. They also handed Haitham Jo’beh an order which prevents him from leaving the country for 6 months. The freed Jerusalemite prisoner Khalil Ghazawi was also handed an order to prevent him from travelling abroad for six months.
