With pictures: Injuries and damaging properties of Al-Quds University during clashes in Abu Dis
Dozens of Palestinian young men were injured with rubber bullets, sound and gas bombs during violent clashes that broke out in the town of Abu Dis.
Hani Halabieh, the Public Resistance Committee spokesman, said that 40 young men were injured with rubber bullets in which two of them suffered an injury where the bullets went-in their hands and were taken out later on in one of the clinics; dozens of passers-by and students of the university suffocated due to the gas bombs fired by Israeli forces.
He added that the forced raided Abu Dis to place electric wires on the Separation Wall in the area at the same time when the students were leaving their schools. The soldiers provoked the students which led to the break-out of such violent clashes in the area.
On the other hand, the Israeli forces raided the mosque of Al-Quds University inside the university’s campus after failing to get inside the university through its main doors. The young men confronted the forces who randomly fired gas bombs and rubber bullets towards the young men causing financial damages to the university’s properties in addition to dozens of injuries.
