Kidnapping the child Malek Da’na from Silwan
The Israeli forces kidnapped 11-year old Malek Da’na while being inside a barbershop in Silwan. Witnesses told Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the borders police broke into the barbershop in the neighbourhood of Ein Al-Lozeh and arrested the child while sitting inside. They handcuffed him using plastic handcuffs; note that no clashes were occurring in the area at the time of arrest. The child’s father said that the police took his son to Salah Eddin Street police station and detained the ID of the child’s mother and requested the father to immediately come to the station. Malek’s father pointed out that the Israeli forces arrested his son two years ago for 4 hours and assaulted and severely beaten him at that time.
